Pricing
Upon booking your virtual appointment, your payment will be held by STRIPE, the authorised payment vendor for payment to Practice Plus following your consultation.
Should you cancel your appointment up to 6 hours before your scheduled appointment time, the funds will be directly returned to your account.
Appointment fees are as follows:

- CSC means Community Services Card.
- Under 14s are free.
- Where care is booked through a clinic, an employer or a service arrangement, for example ACC-related care, prices may vary.
- Interpreting and any extensive follow-up such as referrals or medical forms may be invoiced separately.
- Pricing is inclusive of GST
International Patients:
Please read and follow the steps when booking an appointment:
- Please have a copy of your passport or visa as a PDF or a Jpeg available when booking your appointment.
- You will be required to upload this document as part of the booking process so we can confirm your identity during the consultation.
- You will be asked for a New Zealand street address – please have this available this is for legal purposes and so our clinicians can prescribe medications and complete referrals etc.
- Once the consultation is completed, you will be emailed a receipt. You may be able to claim the cost of this consultation directly with your travel insurance provider. Please check with them directly.
Services not available
- Weight loss medication initiation. We can’t start weight loss medications on this service, but you can book to discuss this with our clinicians.
- ADHD medication initiation. We can’t start ADHD medications on this service, but you can book to discuss this with our clinicians.
- Medical certificates that need a physical examination, including drivers, police, army and diving certificates.
- Student medical certificates for exam special consideration or assessment exceptions.
- Immigration, Antarctica and pre-employment medicals.
- Death notifications.
- End of life palliative care plans.
Other Service Fees
Interpreting Services
Please note that the cost of this service is based on the duration of use and will be included in a separate invoice sent to you for payment. Video bookings with an interpreter have a minimum charge of 30 minutes by the interpreting service.
Follow Up Care
Any extensive follow up care post-consultation (e.g., referrals or medical forms) may incur a follow up or full consultation fee.
